Iranian President Denies Holocaust

During a 60 Minutes interview aired on Sunday night, Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi would not confirm that the Holocaust happened. He suggested that “historical events should be investigated by researchers and historians.” On this week’s Israel Uncensored with Josh Hasten, Josh rails at the world community for begging the Iranian regime, the world’s lead sponsors of terror, and also Holocaust deniers, to rejoin the bad nuclear deal, which will pave the way from them to acquire nuclear weapons.

As Israel this year marked 70 years of diplomatic relations with Japan, Haifa’s Tikotin Museum of Japanese Art last week launched a major art exhibit titled “Time Tunnel—Japan and the Jews,” displaying the work of five leading Japanese artists with a focus on the Holocaust.

United We Stand, Divided We Fall

On today’s Israel Uncensored with Josh Hasten, Josh discusses comments made yesterday by Shin Bet head Ronen Bar indicating that the social divide in Israeli society and political instability are fueling terrorist organizations’ desire to wipe out the Jewish State. Josh argues that Israeli society is more united than it seems, but nevertheless there is a long way to go in terms of “ahavat achim” (brotherly love). He says that once we are truly and fully united, our enemies don’t stand a chance.

Terrorists Catch Fire Trying to Murder Jews

On today’s Israel Uncensored with Josh Hasten, a rundown of the many terrorist attacks that took place in Israel this week, including yesterday’s Jordan Valley shooting. On Sunday, two Jihadi terrorists fired at an Israeli bus, injuring six, including the driver and five IDF soldiers. One of the soldiers who was seriously hurt has made progress in his recovery. As the terrorists were fleeing the scene of the attack, karma caught up with them, and their vehicle caught on fire, severely burning them both. At the same time, the IDF’s “Breaking the Wave” anti-terror campaign continues in full force. Media reports indicate that 1,200 wanted terror suspects were arrested and some 200 shooting attacks were thwarted over the past several months. Why Were Abbas’ Holocaust Comments Shocking?

This past week, while in Germany nonetheless, PA head Mahmoud Abbas accused Israel of carrying out 50 Holocausts against the “Palestinians.” His comments were condemned by German Chancellor Olaf Scholz along with leaders from Israel and around the world. While certainly despicable, why was anybody shocked? Abbas is a notorious Holocaust denier whose 1982 doctoral dissertation was called “The Other Side: The Secret Relationship Between Nazism and Zionism,” in which Abbas minimized the Nazi plan to liquidate the Jewish people and accused the Zionists of colluding with the Nazis. Abbas’ comments were certainly outrageous, but no reason for surprise. This story and all the latest news from Israel on this week’s Israel Uncensored with Josh Hasten.

What The Media Doesn’t Tell You About What It’s Like to Live In a Jewish “Settlement” (Community): A Fireside Chat with Joshua Hasten, Spokesperson for Gush Etzion

When it comes to reporting on Jewish communities in Judea & Samaria, nuance isn’t exactly something often seen in the news media. Whether disdainfully referring to them as illegal Jewish settlements, claiming that their existence violates international law, or even that they are the single biggest obstacle to peace between Israelis and Palestinians, it can be hard to separate truth from fiction and to try and understand the reality of these communities.

Our guest this week will be sharing a unique viewpoint not often seen in the news media: that these Jewish communities are not only not obstacles to peace, but in fact may be very much the opposite. Since arriving on Aliyah from the United States in 2002, Josh Hasten has been at the forefront of Israel’s public diplomacy efforts.

How Those Suffering from Cancer Become ‘Me’ at Camp Simcha

Sixteen-year-old Tevel Argental, from the northern Israeli town of Yokneam, has been battling brain cancer since she was two years old. She has undergone multiple surgeries, chemotherapy, radiation and other treatments that have allowed her to live as best as possible under the difficult circumstances. At the same time, Tevel has been coming to grips with the death of her father, who died of a heart attack three years ago.
