While agricultural terrorism isn’t a new tactic, it has picked up steam, both in the south and, over the past several weeks, throughout Judea and Samaria, especially here in Gush Etzion.
For many Israelis, last week’s winter storm was a blessing. At least five straight days of rain, and then snow, turned a large portion of the country into a winter wonderland.
After yet another Israeli death, it’s time to shut down PA channels that openly call for the murder of Jews.
Another day, another deadly attack in the name of Jihad. Today it was 30-year-old Eliav Gelman HY’D, an IDF Reserve Officer who was murdered waiting for a ride at the Gush Junction. Yes, that same Gush Junction where so and so was murdered.
Touring Israel, they are able to see joint partnerships between Israelis and Arabs at work, the high-quality produce prepared for export—and even witness firsthand the need to run for shelter as Hamas rockets fall.
On today’s Israel Uncensored with Josh Hasten an interview with Efrat Mayor and Chief Foreign Envoy of the Yesha Council Oded Revivi on the decision by the Airbnb apartment renting platform to delist Jewish properties in Judea and Samaria. Revivi is adamant that by succumbing to BDS pressure and deleting the Jewish rentals, Airbnb is actually pushing peace further away, by essentially depriving those seeking to make bonds from being able to do so. He is confident though that their decision will backfire, as more and more Israelis and tourists will now decide to send a message to the company by consciously choosing Judea and Samaria as a vacation destination.
While Prime Minister Netanyahu is trying to salvage his government, indications at this point show that Israel could be headed towards early elections. Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman has already resigned, and while Ministers Bennett and Shaked this morning decided to remain in the government, can Netanyahu somehow hang on with a razor thin 61-seat majority in the Knesset? Also, despite the political turmoil and the chaos caused by Hamas this past week firing nearly 500 rockets at Israeli towns, Israel is on pace for a record number of tourists visiting the Jewish State in 2018. Josh Hasten discusses these topics and everything else making news on this weeks’ “Israel Uncensored.”
On today’s Israel Uncensored with Josh Hasten, Josh discusses the reimposition of sanctions by the Trump Administration against the Iranian regime. The move, which was applauded by Israeli PM Netanyahu, will further hamper Iran’s tentacles of terror around the world. Also, Israeli teens living near Gaza are marching to Jerusalem to raise awareness about life under almost daily rocket and kite terror. Finally, while Ben & Jerry’s ice cream in the US has created a new flavor to show support for several groups including a movement run by known anti-Semite Linda Sarsour, the Israeli branch of the ice-cream giant, has proven its moral compass is pointed in the right direction by saying it won’t be selling the controversial flavor.
On today’s Israel Uncensored with Josh Hasten, we mourn the loss of 11 Jews who were murdered in a Pittsburgh synagogue on Shabbat morning. Josh describes how many on social media used this horrific hate crime as a cynical means to bash Israel, the Trump Administration, or anyone else under the sun, instead of focusing on the white-supremacist neo-Nazi who carried out the shooting. In reality, he says that anti-Semitism is a 3,000+ year-old phenomenon. At the same time, Israelis living on the Gaza border were also the target of terror/hate having to run for the shelters again this past Friday night as Hamas/Islamic Jihad terrorists fired over 30 rockets into Israeli communities. Josh says that Israel should be not enabling the terrorists in Gaza and halt the supply of aid, especially fuel which ends up being used to launch rockets and missiles against the Jewish State.
On today’s Israel Uncensored with Josh Hasten an interview with Yishai Fleisher International Spokesman for the Jewish community in Hebron and radio host on the Land of Israel Network. Fleisher details the government’s approval of a new neighborhood in Hebron, which represents the first such Jewish construction there in more than 16 years. Fleisher says that the new homes will help strengthen that 3,500 year-old Biblical Jewish town.
