Israel declared WAR on Hezbollah with pager explosions, terror group says | LiveNOW from FOX
Hassan Nasrallah, the leader of the Hezbollah terror group said this week’s “unprecedented” attacks involving the simultaneous explosion of electronics was a “declaration of war.”
In a televised speech, Nasrallah called the attacks “a major blow” that “crossed all red lines.”
Pagers used by Hezbollah fighters exploded near-simultaneously on Tuesday and the next day, the terror group’s walkie-talkies also blew up.
The Lebanese Health Ministry reports at least 37 people were killed in explosions with more than 3,000 injured.
While no one has claimed responsibility for the attacks, Nasrallah said Hezbollah is certain that Israel was behind it. There has been no confirmation from the Israeli government or the Israel Defense Forces.
