Is a United Jerusalem Bipartisan?

On today’s Israel Uncensored with Josh Hasten, Josh discusses reports indicating that a group of moderate democrats in the US are preparing to tell President Joe Biden to refrain from opening a consulate to the Palestinian Authority in Jerusalem. A group of 35 Republican senators have already drafted a bill to prevent the move, which if comes to fruition, would give a hostile foreign entity (the PA) a foothold in the city, and be the first step in its redivision. The Sovereignty Movement and other organizations held their first protest against the move this past week outside the old US Consulate on Agron Street in downtown Jerusalem, and plan on hosting a weekly vigil at the site.

Israel Declares Six PA “Human Rights” NGO’s Terror Organizations

Israeli Defense Minister Benny Gantz this week declared six so-called PA Arab “human rights” NGO’s to be linked to PFLP (Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine) terror organizations. One would think that such a declaration would cause the world community to condemn these NGO’s, yet Israel is being raked over the coals for making such claims by everyone from the State Department, to other so-called human rights groups, and even some current Israeli government ministers. On this week’s Israel Uncensored with Josh Hasten, Josh says that it’s insane how these branches of terror are being praised, while Israel is being condemned for making the declarations.

BDS Supporters Find a Home at Netflix

The pro-Israel watchdog organization Im Tirtzu says that the vast majority of films featured in Netflix’s new “Palestinian Stories” collection were directed by BDS supporters. Not only did anti-Israel haters direct these movies, but according to a statement from the organization the films portray a biased depiction of the conflict between Israel and her neighbors while glorifying terrorism. On this week’s Israel Uncensored with Josh Hasten, Josh argues that there is a difference between freedom of artistic expression and showcasing content which incites to violence and praises terror. This story plus all the latest news from Israel on this week’s show.

Limiting Jewish Prayer on the Temple Mount

A Jerusalem Magistrate’s Court this past week ruled that Jews can pray, albeit quietly, on the Temple Mount, Judaism’s holiest site. However, police backed by Minister of Internal Security Omer Bar-Lev (Labor) are against Jewish prayer there claiming it will ignite tensions. On this week’s Israel Uncensored with Josh Hasten, Josh argues that not allowing Jews to pray on the Temple Mount is discriminatory and shows weakness, which is seized upon by our enemies here in the Middle East.

Iron Dome Isn’t an Excuse to Let Hamas Off the Hook

Israel’s Iron Dome anti-missile defense system has been in the news over the past several weeks as radical members of Congress tried to de-fund the project. While Congress ultimately approved a bill to finance the Iron Dome, on this week’s Israel Uncensored with Josh Hasten, Josh says that with or without Iron Dome, Israel must respond harshly to every rocket fired, regardless if the system successfully shoots the projectiles out of the air. He argues that Iron Dome’s efficiency should not be a factor for Israel in doing everything possible to prevent Israeli children from having to run to the shelters. The bottom line is that one rocket is one too many, and the terrorists must pay a heavy price, which will deter them from firing.

Lapid’s Misguided Gaza Strategy

Foreign Minister Yair Lapid laid out his strategy for the future of Gaza at a conference on terrorism yesterday. His plan – to defeat Hamas through economic improvements and through diplomacy. On this week’s Israel Uncensored with Josh Hasten, Josh argues that Lapid has it completely backwards. Instead of easing conditions in Gaza, which the residents there would then credit Hamas for accomplishing, Israel should create a reality in which Gazans want to see the terror group Hamas dethroned and out of their lives completely. This story plus all the latest news from Israel on this week’s show.

Gantz Boosts PA Through Abbas Meeting

Defense Minister Benny Gantz met with PA head Mahmoud Abbas last night, which represents the first high ranking and face to face meeting between Israel and the PA in a decade. On today’s Israel Uncensored with Josh Hasten, Josh says that the gathering, on the heels of Friday’s meeting between Prime Minister Naftali Bennett and US President Joe Biden in Washington, is disturbing. Despite the fact that the PA continues to pay terrorists and their families for the murder of Israelis though their “pay for slay” program, it seems that Israel is once again trying to legitimize and bolster the PA, which has been a failed policy since the Oslo Accords in the mid-1990’s.

The Jihad Feeds Off Weakness

From Kabul to Gaza, and all places in-between, whenever the West displays weakness, the Jihad swoops in. On this week’s Israel Uncensored with Josh Hasten, Josh discusses the fall of Kabul to the Taliban, and how that new reality mirrors the Hamas takeover of Gaza when Israel pulled out in 2005. With Hamas threatening more violence if their cash demands are not met, Josh says the only way to deal with Jihdist terror groups is through strength.

Iran Flexing its Tentacles

From Hezbollah attacks on northern Israel, to the bombing of an Israeli-managed cargo ship, to meeting with the heads of terror organizations, Iran has been extremely busy this week exporting its brand of aggression in the Middle East. In regard to Hezbollah launching around 20 rockets into northern Israel, Prime Minister Naftali Bennett said that such action will not be tolerated. Time will tell if Israel is heading towards a possible war on several fronts. This story plus all the latest news from Israel on this week’s Israel Uncensored, with Josh Hasten.

Agreement Reached on Qatari Funding for Gaza

Israeli media outlets reported this week that Qatar and the Palestinian Authority have reached an agreement which would allow for Qatari funds to reach Gaza. The money is supposed to go towards the needy in the Hamas-run enclave in addition to Hamas’ “administration officials.” On today’s edition of Israel Uncensored with Josh Hasten, Josh says that no doubt some of that funding will be used by Hamas to further their terror agenda against the Jewish State.
