Seeing Israel is Believing

On his fifth trip to Israel this year alone, former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee says that he brings groups to Israel regularly, especially those individuals who haven’t been here before, since he feels strongly that seeing is believing when it comes to understanding the values Israel has been able to share with the world. Huckabee went on to touch upon many issues including the plight of Christians living as a persecuted minority under the Palestinian Authority. He also levied praise on President Donald Trump for moving the US Embassy to Jerusalem, and recognizing Israel’s sovereignty over the Golan Heights.

Jews Living Under Military Control

On today’s Israel Uncensored with Josh Hasten an interview with Yisrael “Winkie” Medad Research Fellow at the Menachem Begin Heritage Center and long-time activist for Jewish rights in Judea and Samaria. Medad describes daily life and some of the struggles Jews face as residents of the State of Israel living in an area which is under military government control. The Biblical Superhighway Unearthed

On today’s Israel Uncensored with Josh Hasten an interview with Ze’ev Orenstein Director of International Affairs for the City of David Foundation. Yesterday, the City of David opened the “Pilgrimage Road,” the actual road used by Jewish pilgrims to walk up to the Temple in Jerusalem during the High Holidays after purifying themselves in the Shiloah pools down below. Orenstein refers to this new discovery as the ancient ‘Biblical superhighway’ as hundreds of thousands of Jews would use this path to make their way up to the Temple. He also gives his take on the haters who came out to protest yesterday’s ceremony, by saying the discovery isn’t a matter of faith, but rather a matter of “fact” linking ancient Jewish history to our presence here today.

‘Touchdown in Israel III’ in Jerusalem

On a very special edition of Israel Uncensored with Josh Hasten, Josh reports from this past Friday’s “Touchdown in Israel III” event at the Kraft Family Sports Campus in Jerusalem. 16 current players and alumni from the New England Patriots were in Israel as part of the third installment of a VIP trip to Israel organized by Patriots Chairman and CEO Robert Kraft. Surviving a Direct Rocket Hit

On today’s Israel Uncensored with Josh Hasten, an interview with Rabbi Dovid Fendel, the head of the Hesder Yeshiva in Sderot. This past Thursday night, terrorists in Gaza launched a rocket, which slammed into one of the Yeshiva’s buildings causing damage. While the students were shaken up, miraculously there were no serious injuries. Rabbi Fendel says that on one hand, his institution is leading the way in growing and thriving and building in Sderot, but on the other hand, he says that the reality under the constant threat of rocket fire is unacceptable. Rabbi Fendel shares some of his thoughts as to what Israel should do to stop the rocket attacks.

PA Arabs Planning “Popular Uprising”

In response to the launch of US President Trump’s upcoming peace plan, PA officials are threatening to launch a “popular uprising” later this month. On this week’s Israel Uncensored, Josh Hasten explains that the language used is essentially a threat of violence and terror. Ironically, Josh says that when a third party such as the US initiates a plan that they don’t like, that violence is somehow always directed at Israel.

Did Israel Benefit from Hosting Eurovision?

Over 200 million television viewers had their eyes on Tel Aviv over the weekend as Israel hosted the 2019 Eurovision Song Competition. But was hosting the event a victory for Israel’s PR efforts? Avi Abelow, founder of 12 Tribe Films and the Israel Video Network joins Israel Uncensored’s Josh Hasten on this week’s show to discuss. Abelow thinks that while Eurovision provided some PR benefit, he believes that Israel might have missed the boat in using the competition to truly sanctify the Jewish Nation.

Moskowitz Prize for Zionism Winner – ‘Time to Apply Sovereignty’

On today’s Israel Uncensored with Josh Hasten, an interview with Nadia Matar, co-director of the Israel Sovereignty Movement founded by Women in Green. Matar along with Yehudit Katzover are two of the recipients of this year’s prestigious Moskowitz Prize for Zionism. The prize award ceremony is to be held in Jerusalem on Tuesday evening, June 4. Matar explains that after 52 years since Israel’s victory in the Six Day War, it’s finally time to apply sovereignty over all of the land of Israel. She’s confident that most Israelis today, realize that sovereignty is the only way forward towards true stability.

The Eurovision War

On today’s Israel Uncensored with Josh Hasten, over 700 rockets were fired at Israel over the weekend resulting in the death of four Israelis. Was Israel too quick to seek a cease fire with Hamas? Doesn’t Israel have a policy of not negotiating with terrorists? Could Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu be looking for quiet as Israel gets ready to host Eurovision? Also on the show Marc Prowisor Director of Security for the One Israel Fund reports from down south where he is busy providing necessary equipment to the security chiefs and medics in full anticipation that this “cease fire” won’t last long.
