Lavie’s new book, “Why Are We Still Afraid” insists that while Israel today has many enemies, the Jewish State faces no existential threats. Lavie says that we should therefore focus on fixing our societal problems instead. Lavie also says that the BDS movement might be noisy, but has done very little harm over the past decade, as Israel continues to expand into many markets around the globe.

On today’s Israel Uncensored with Josh Hasten, an interview with renowned journalist Ruthie Blum. Blum criticizes Israel Resilience Party leader Benny Gantz for his attacks on Prime Minister Netanyahu. Instead of focusing on issues he has with the PM’s policies, Blum explains that for some reason Gantz decided to attack Netanyahu for his strengths – namely speaking English at a mother tongue level, and his diplomatic prowess on the world stage. Also, while Blum says that Netanyahu’s decision to partner with the Otzma Party may or may not harm him come election day, she explains that like them or not, Otzma was in fact permitted to run in the elections by Israel’s courts.

Prowisor discusses the horrible murder of 19-year-old Tekoa resident Ori Ansbacher HY”D at the hands of a Hebron Arab. Her body was found on Thursday in a Jerusalem forest. Prowisor says that in order to defeat this evil, the first thing we need in Israel is unity. He says we also need an effective method of deterrence so that our enemies will think twice, before starting up with the Jews of Israel.

On today’s Israel Uncensored with Josh Hasten, an interview with Jeremy Saltan, Knesset insider and Anglo Forum Chairman for the “HaYamin HeHadash,” or the “New Yamin” Party led by Minister Naftali Bennett. Saltan gives insight on what his new party stands for, and provides details on some of the primaries taking place this week within the Likud, and Jewish Home parties. Saltan is confident that Prime Minister Netanyahu will once again be Israel’s Prime Minster and is hopeful that Minister Bennett will be Israel’s new Minister of Defense following the April 9 Knesset elections.
Zehut’s Feiglin – We are a Party for all Israelis
On today’s Israel Uncensored with Josh Hasten an interview with former MK and head of the Zehut party Mr. Moshe Feiglin. Zehut is hosting its primaries on Tuesday, and in a unique move has opened the voting to all Israelis regardless of party affiliation, as Feiglin believes that Zehut represents all sectors of Israeli society. Feiglin describes some of his party’s many platforms including a desire for less government involvement in the lives of the citizens of Israel and a reduction in the prices of goods and services. Feiglin says that he doesn’t see a difference between the proposed paths towards peace between Prime Minister Netanyahu or any others on the ‘right’ or the ‘left.’ He also believes that Israel should establish full sovereignty over all of the the Land of Israel, and describes what his party’s version of a ‘one-state solution’ would look like.
MK Haskel Eyes the Future While Reflecting on Past Accomplishments
On today’s Israel Uncensored with Josh Hasten, an exclusive interview with Likud MK Sharren Haskel. Haskel who is currently on the campaign trail as Israel heads towards elections, details some of her accomplishments as an MK over the past four years. She says that she worked towards liberating markets in Israel including the media, as well as assisting different segments of Israeli society, with a focus on helping Israel’s farmers. This rising star admits that it would be an honor if Likud wins the elections and she was selected to serve as Israel’s next Minister of Agriculture. In terms of her policies towards Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria, she hopes that Israel will apply sovereignty over the Jordan Valley and northern Dead Sea areas as a trial balloon towards applying sovereignty over other Jewish communities throughout the heartland.

Another rocket was fired by Gazan terrorists at Israel’s southern communities over the weekend accompanied by additional Hamas threats. The IDF responded by striking Hamas terror targets. At the same Israel has uncovered a sixth Hezbollah terror tunnel from Lebanon as part of its ‘Operation Northern Shield.’ Also, Prime Minister Netanyahu opened his cabinet meeting on Sunday admitting that Israel was behind a strike on an Iranian arms warehouses in Damascus, Syria a day earlier. Never a dull moment in the Jewish State or in the Middle East!
Ambassador Ettinger’s Expert Analysis on US/Israel Relations
On today’s Israel Uncensored with Josh Hasten, an interview with Ambassador Yoram Ettinger, Israel’s former Minister for Congressional Affairs in Washington and expert on US/Israel relations. Amb. Ettinger says that it’s a mistake to think that a US troop pullout from Syria will damage Israel’s security. In regard to US National Security Adviser John Bolton’s current trip to the region, Ettinger talks about how Bolton has relentlessly stood by the Jewish State for many years. He adds that instead of introducing the delayed US peace plan between Israel and the Arabs under the PA, the US should focus on the Iranian threat and other Middle East conflicts which are contributing towards instability in the region.
