In the middle of Israel’s barren Arava, more than an hour’s drive from a major city, a diverse group of over 1,200 university students from Africa and Asia have gathered to learn the latest in agriculture technologies from local farmers.
With teams on the ground, SeeTree starts by sending in an agronomist to create an initial assessment and establish a protocol for a farmer’s trees. A group of former Israeli intelligence experts are in the midst of revolutionizing the fruit-tree farming industry around the world, utilizing their know-how, along with some of the most advanced agriculture technology (“agtech”) on the planet.
On today’s Israel Uncensored with Josh Hasten an interview with David Ziering founder of Adama613 an initiative which allows people to buy their own piece of agricultural land in Israel. Ziering’s farmers will plow, plant, and fertilize your piece of land according to Jewish Law, taking off tithes for the poor, etc. as you will be given the opportunity to drink your own wine, eat your own olives etc. which grew on your own property in Israel. Also on the show, Josh discusses the escalation on southern Israel – once again, with rockets fired at Jewish communities over Shabbat.
