On Sunday, Israel’s Foreign Minister Yair Lapid claimed that Israel’s failed PR policies are partially to blame for the biggest rise in anti-Semitism since World War II. Josh Hasten, on this week’s edition of “Israel Uncensored,” said that Lapid’s comments were ridiculous, and Israel’s Foreign Minister shouldn’t be making excuses (especially using self-blame) for Jew-hatred, a 4,000 year old phenomena. While Israel’s PR efforts might need an overhaul, Hasten argued that there was no correlation between the anti-Semites’ hatred, and the way Israel presents itself.

Fake War Crimes = Pure Anti-Semitism
The International Criminal Court (ICC) this week ruled that it has jurisdiction to open war crimes investigations against Israel. Prime Minister Netanyhau referred to the decision as “pure anti-Semitism.” Many other Israeli leaders also took the court to task for putting Israel on the same playing field as Hamas and other terror organizations. While this is only the beginning, on this week’s Israel Uncensored with Josh Hasten, hear what some experts are saying in terms of how Israel should approach the ICC’s unfounded and purely political decision. Plus all the latest news for Israel on this week’s show.

Why Did the Monsey Stabbing Happen?
On today’s Israel Uncensored with Josh Hasten, Josh tackles the horrible Monsey stabbing, where a machete-wielding hater of the Jews attacked a Hanukkah lighting ceremony in Monsey, NY this past Saturday night. Josh says that those who continue to ask “why” this attack and the many other anti-Semitic attacks are happening, need to wake up to the reality that if you are a Jew you are a target. Josh says that communal Jewish leaders, Rabbis, and others who host public gatherings within the Jewish community are negligent if they don’t provide adequate security in this day and age.

Is Anti-Semitism Becoming Mainstream? Experts See Alarming Trend in Media, Campus and Public Life
Is anti-Semitism becoming mainstream? Experts see alarming trend in media, campus and public life “The ongoing decades-old long demonization and dehumanization of the Jewish state has been misunderstood as political criticism when in truth, it has been the new virulent form of anti-Semitism,” said Dan Diker, a fellow and senior project director at the Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs.
Poway and the New York Times
The anti-Semitic cartoon which appeared this past week in the New York Times, may or may not have been seen by the terrorist who murdered a Jewish woman and injured three others in a Poway, California Synagogue, but the overall mainstreaming of anti-Semitism, just 70 years after the Holocaust, certainly played a role. On today’s Israel Uncensored, Josh Hasten discusses the Poway terror shooting, with a focus on the heroism displayed by that congregation’s worshipers in saving lives. Josh then ties in the now infamous anti-Semitic New York Times cartoon, which ran this week, with reactions and condemnations abound.

Stand Up Against Anti-Semitism in the Democratic Party!
On today’s Israel Uncensored with Josh Hasten, an interview with Daniel Seaman the Middle East Forum’s Israel Director, and former head of the Israel Government Press Office. Seaman pulls no punches in letting the American Jewish community know what he thinks they should be doing in response to anti-Semitic tropes from Congresswoman Ilhan Omar, and the overall failure of the Democrats to pass a resolution exclusively condemning the hatred of Jews. Seaman also gives his thoughts on a new Israeli election poll which shows that PM Netanyahu’s Likud is gaining on the Blue and White party of Benny Gantz.
