Is a Storming of the Knesset Possible?

On this week’s Israel Uncensored, Josh Hasten says that following last week’s violent breach into the US Capitol Building in Washington D.C., many are asking, ‘can something similar happen in Israel?’ With rampant pro and anti Netanyahu demonstrations these days, and with many other segments of society taking to the streets for their respective causes, can it get to the point where Israeli citizens threaten to storm the Knesset? At the same time, even with dangerous unprecedented censorship coming from the social media giants, Josh says that cooler heads in Israel must prevail. Plus all the latest information on the coronavirus pandemic as Israel is in the midst of a third lockdown. While Israel is taking the world lead in vaccinations, other countries are asking the Jewish State for help in this massive inoculation initiative for their people. Perhaps certain countries will be grateful and vote against anti-Israel resolutions in world bodies as a ‘thank you.’ Time will tell.

Will Netanyhau hold on as the country’s leader, or will a coalition be formed led by either former Likud member Gideon Sa’ar and his “New Hope” party or Naftali Bennett’s Yamina? All of this plus the other latest news from Israel, on this week’s Israel Uncensored, with Josh Hasten.

Israel Starts to Vaccinate

Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu went on television this past Saturday night and received the first dose of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccination, in order to set an example for the Israeli public, encouraging everyone to vaccinate. Could this be the beginning of the end of the pandemic? Not all are convinced that the vaccine is the answer. Plus breaking news – the body of a 52-year-old Israeli woman was found late Saturday night in a forest in northern Samaria. Authorities are determining if perhaps she was murdered in a nationalistic terror attack. This and all the news from Israel on this week’s edition of Israel Uncensored with Josh Hasten.

Closure No Closure

As Israel was about to implement a closure on it’s “red communities,” with coronavius cases spiking out of control, the government yesterday decided to implement a “night curfew” instead in Israel’s most hard-hit towns and communities. On today’s Israel Uncensored with Josh Hasten, Josh berates the government for playing politics as thousands of new cases of COVID-19 are being confirmed daily. What will happen during Rosh Hashannah and the high holidays, when some are insisting on holding services in synagogues despite the infections? What about the mass protests still taking place against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu? All of these questions and more, as Israel is in the midst of it’s hottest September in 118 years.
