Anti-Semite Roger Waters dressed as a Nazi SS officer at a concert in Berlin, Germany this past week, while also comparing Anne Frank, murdered in the Holocaust, to an Arab journalist accidentally killed last year in an IDF anti-terror operation. Why Were Abbas’ Holocaust Comments Shocking?

This past week, while in Germany nonetheless, PA head Mahmoud Abbas accused Israel of carrying out 50 Holocausts against the “Palestinians.” His comments were condemned by German Chancellor Olaf Scholz along with leaders from Israel and around the world. While certainly despicable, why was anybody shocked? Abbas is a notorious Holocaust denier whose 1982 doctoral dissertation was called “The Other Side: The Secret Relationship Between Nazism and Zionism,” in which Abbas minimized the Nazi plan to liquidate the Jewish people and accused the Zionists of colluding with the Nazis. Abbas’ comments were certainly outrageous, but no reason for surprise. This story and all the latest news from Israel on this week’s Israel Uncensored with Josh Hasten.

Young Germans Move Beyond the Past to Solidify Relations in Israel, with Adults and Kids Alike

A group of young adults from Germany, including direct descendants of Nazi Wehrmacht soldiers and/or members of the SS, met with Holocaust survivors to gain much-needed closure for the sins of their grandparents and great-grandparents.

Activists and Experts Demand German Transparency on UNRWA Support

Germany is currently the top donor nation to UNRWA, contributing nearly $170 million in 2019. Experts say that UNRWA’s textbooks promote “the delegitimization of Israel and the Jews in what they call ‘Palestine.’ ”
