Israelis clash over detention of reservists accused of abusing Nukhba terrorist

Protesters, including right-wing members of Knesset, took part on Monday in heated demonstrations at the entrance to two Israel Defense Forces bases, with some even managing to break inside.

Some 120 protesters gathered in the Gush Etzion town of Efrat on Sunday morning to prevent local building contractors from bringing Palestinian laborers into the community.

Judea and Samaria face new reality of aerial terrorism

The more than half a million Israeli residents of Judea and Samaria are no strangers to terrorism. In 2023, the region saw a 350% increase in terrorist attacks compared to the previous year. There were 300 shooting attacks last year, the most since the second intifada in the early 2000s.

Family members of 16 soldiers from Gush Etzion and Efrat who fell defending the State of Israel since Hamas’s Oct. 7 massacre gathered on Monday at a military base in the Gush’s western foothills to dedicate the base’s newly expanded synagogue in memory of their loved ones.

Jewish Students Visit Israel, Learning How to Confront Campuses ‘Rampant with Antisemitism’

During a visit to the Knesset in Jerusalem on Thursday, Jacob Klatzker, a student at the University of Washington in Seattle, told JNS his campus has been “rampant with antisemitism” since the Oct. 7 Hamas terrorist attacks in southern Israel and the ensuing military response by the Israel Defense Forces, now in its third month of battling the terrorist organization based in the Gaza Strip.
