Yamina and Likud Weigh in on Government Coalition

On today’s special edition of Israel Uncensored with Josh Hasten, interviews with Jeremy Saltan, English Operations Director for the Yamina Party and Danny Seaman, Political Analyst and long-time Likud supporter. Saltan says that the upcoming wide-ranging government coalition headed by Naftali Bennett will be even more right-wing than governments led by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Seaman argues that it is inconceivable that Bennett is slated to be Israel’s next prime minister as his party only secured seven seats in this past election. Listen to both interviews to get a true understanding of what Yamina and Likud representatives/supporters are saying respectively, as Israel inches closer to a new government.

Israel Getting Ready to Vote

On today’s Israel Uncensored with Josh Hasten, Josh speaks to representatives from two of the right-leaning parties who according to polls will pass the electoral threshold as Israel gets ready to elect representatives to the 22nd Knesset on Tuesday. First it’s Jeremy Saltan English Campaign Manager and candidate for Knesset from the Yamina party. Then a conversation with Fred Moncharsh, Likud Central Party Committee member. Yamina and Likud have gone after each other in recent days trying to secure votes on the right. Who should right-leaning Israelis vote for? Maybe the Otzma Yehudit party is the answer? Either way, Josh says that the Jewish People living in the State of Israel are blessed to be able to elect their own leadership after 2,000 years in exile.
