Taking the fight to Judea and Samaria

Leaders from the communities in Judea and Samaira penned a letter to the security cabinet calling on the government to take a Gaza-like approach to the terrorist threat emanating from areas under P.A. control. This comes as Defense Minister Israel Katz ordered the IDF to bolster security for the communities and roads in Judea and Samaria, as extremist terrorist groups inspired by the fall of the Assad regime, may decide to strike against Jewish targets within the country. (Nov. 21, 2024 / JNS) The Biden administration this week announced a new round of sanctions against three Israeli entities and three individuals, pursuant to the president’s Feb. 1, 2024 Executive Order 14115, which targets Israelis accused of undermining “the foreign policy objectives of the United States.”

(September 6, 2024 / JNS) “The army is now seriously turning its attention to Judea and Samaria. The terrorists have raised their heads,” a regional Judea and Samaria security chief, who simultaneously is serving in the IDF reserves as part of the “Operation Summer Camp” anti-terror campaign in the territories that began on Aug. 28, told JNS on Wednesday.

(September 4, 2024 / JNS) Last month, the Israeli Defense Ministry’s Civil Administration set borders known as “blue lines” for a new 150-acre Gush Etzion town called Nahal Heletz, located in the Judean hills just outside of Jerusalem, in an area with a Jewish presence dating back thousands of years.
