Palestinian Authority

Is a United Jerusalem Bipartisan?

On today’s Israel Uncensored with Josh Hasten, Josh discusses reports indicating that a group of moderate democrats in the US are preparing to tell President Joe Biden to refrain from opening a consulate to the Palestinian Authority in Jerusalem. A group of 35 Republican senators have already drafted a bill to prevent the move, which if comes to fruition, would give a hostile foreign entity (the PA) a foothold in the city, and be the first step in its redivision. The Sovereignty Movement and other organizations held their first protest against the move this past week outside the old US Consulate on Agron Street in downtown Jerusalem, and plan on hosting a weekly vigil at the site.

Gantz Boosts PA Through Abbas Meeting

Defense Minister Benny Gantz met with PA head Mahmoud Abbas last night, which represents the first high ranking and face to face meeting between Israel and the PA in a decade. On today’s Israel Uncensored with Josh Hasten, Josh says that the gathering, on the heels of Friday’s meeting between Prime Minister Naftali Bennett and US President Joe Biden in Washington, is disturbing. Despite the fact that the PA continues to pay terrorists and their families for the murder of Israelis though their “pay for slay” program, it seems that Israel is once again trying to legitimize and bolster the PA, which has been a failed policy since the Oslo Accords in the mid-1990’s.

Delayed EU Report Admits PA Textbooks Incite Against Israel

After an unexplained delay, the European Union finally released a report acknowledging that Palestinian Authority textbooks encourage violence against Israel and the Jewish People. The textbooks in question are being directly funded by the EU, in addition to the salaries of the teachers who are spewing the hatred contained in the books. The question now is, will the EU withhold funding to the PA, or continue business as usual despite the reports findings? This topic, plus all the latest news from Israel, on this week’s Israel Uncensored with Josh Hasten.

Thousands of Arab protesters have been violently rioting on the Temple Mount (known by Muslims as Haram al-Sharif) throughout the “Jerusalem Day” holiday and over the course of the last several days, accusing Israel of attempting to “storm the Al-Aqsa Mosque” and “Judaize” the entire city. Hundreds of rioters have been injured, along with dozens of Israeli police and security personnel.

Biden Administration Making all the Wrong Moves

On this week’s Israel Uncensored with Josh Hasten, Josh discusses all the wrong moves made by the US Biden Administration in regard to Israel and the Middle East, while world Jewry was busy celebrating Passover. From launching indirect talks with Iran, to once again labeling Israel as an “occupier” in Judea and Samaria, from refunding the Palestinian Authority, to lifting sanctions on the ICC prosecutor, Josh says that on all of these issues, the administration is doing what it can to undo the accomplishments of the Trump administration and ultimately harm Israel’s interests.

“We find it implausible that the Palestinian Authority managed to hide thousands of trucks dumping garbage over the side of a cliff along a major highway for weeks on end,” said Regavim, which is pressing for cleanup and a resolution to the situation.

PA Spending Billions to Fund Terror

On today’s Israel Uncensored with Josh Hasten an interview with Maurice Hirsch head of legal strategies at Palestinian Media Watch (PMW). Hirsch discusses a new PMW report showing how the Palestinian Authority spent at least 7 billion NIS between 2011-2018 on funding terror organizations bent on Israel’s destruction. Hirsch clarifies that these funds are separate from the money the PA uses to finance it’s “pay for slay” program offering incentives and rewards to Arab terrorists and their families.
