Coming Out of Corona Lockdown
On today’s Israel Uncensored with Josh Hasten an interview with Natalie Sopinsky, Director of Development for the Rescuers Without Borders emergency first response organization. Sopinsky says that her org. has been on the front lines as Corona testers over the last few months, in addition to their regular duties of saving lives of those in terror attacks and car accidents etc. The organization also devoted countless hours to delivering essentials to those at-risk under quarantine. Sopinsky is proud of the way Israel handled the crisis and is optimistic as the country has started opening up, after being on lockdown for several months.

Israeli Taxpayer Money Rewarding Terror
On today’s Israel Uncensored with Josh Hasten, an interview with Maurice Hirsch, Head of legal strategies at Palestinian Media Watch, who is outraged at Israel’s decision to “loan” the PA $800 million due to their claim that as a result of Corona, they are on the verge of collapse. Hirsch says that the payment fundamentally undermines the war on terror, as the PA has shown time and time again, that the funding they receive from international sources is diverted towards their “pay to slay” program, which awards terrorists and their families for carrying out attacks against Israelis.

Remembering Those who Made the Ultimate Sacrifice
On the eve of Israel’s Yom Ha’zikaron (Memorial Day) for Israeli soldiers and terror victims, Josh Hasten interviews Adena Mark Kapon, whose mother Sara Blaustein HY”D was murdered in a 2001, Gush Etzion terror attack. Hear how Adena, who says she remembers her mother each and every, drew inspiration from her mother’s memory and made Aliyah with her family to join the Zionist endeavor. She also shares how she personally commemorates Memorial Day each year, and how this year will be somewhat different as a result of Corona.

Remembering the Holocaust – From Home
In the age of Corona, this year’s annual Holocaust Martyrs’ and Heroes’ Remembrance Day in Israel will be commemorated at home through technology. To discuss this reality and to share his story of survival with Josh Hasten, is Walter Bingham, who at 96, is the world’s oldest radio talk-show host. Hear how he survived Kristallnacht as a young teen, and was fortunate to make it to England on a Kindertransport. Corona Passover is Not Unprecedented
On today’s Israel Uncensored with Josh Hasten, an very special interview with Rabbi Guy Avihod, who runs the Haboydem second hand clothing stores in Jerusalem, which gives adults with mental illness in the community a springboard to return to work. Avihod says that while we are essentially at home and in quarantine with our nuclear families this Passover, this event is not unprecedented. He explains that on the first Passover in history, the Jews were also quarantined in their homes as G-d carried out the plague of the firstborn in Egypt, sparking the beginning of the Exodus.

Just Stay Home
On today’s Israel Uncensored with Josh Hasten, Josh encourages his listeners to “just stay home,” in order to do their part in stopping the spread of the Coronavirus. While leaving home to shop for food or visit the pharmacy is a must, Josh insists that public gatherings in synagogues or elsewhere must be avoided at this time. Also on the show, Prime Minister Netanyahu pulls a political rabbit out of the hat, while Israel promises that despite the egg shortage, boats with eggs are on the way, just in time for Passover.
Quarantined from Corona
On today’s Israel Uncensored with Josh Hasten, Josh shares what it’s like to be quarantined as Israeli health officials put a near closure on the entire country. Despite the crisis, Josh says that a lot of good is still happening here in Israel and all over the world. He says that together we can defeat the virus.

Living with Coronavirus while Focusing on the Positives
On today’s Israel Uncensored with Josh Hasten, an interview with educator and lecturer Rabbi Zev Shandalov who says that despite a virtual country-wide quarantine as a result of the Coronavirus outbreak, the focus should not be on what we can’t do, but on what we can do. Namely the Rabbi says that we should use this opportunity to read more, get to know our families better, study more Torah, and other positive activities even while being on lock down.
Also on the show Josh discusses the current political reality as the country’s leaders try to put together a government, with Blue and White head Benny Gantz disappointingly accepting the endorsement of the Arab Balad Party – an extremist element whose goal is to destroy the State of Israel from within.

Coronavirus Panic Hits Israel
On today’s Israel Uncensored with Josh Hasten, Josh discusses the fears of Coronavirus reaching Israel’s shores as South Korean tourists who tested positive for the virus recently toured the country. Around 200 Israeli students, teachers and border police are under quarantine as they may have come in close contact to the group during their visit. Also on the show, Josh praises the IDF’s decision to create deterrence against terror by refusing to turn over the body of a terrorist who tried to plant an explosive device along the Israel/Gaza border fence.
