On today’s Israel Uncensored with Josh Hasten, Josh tackles the horrible Monsey stabbing, where a machete-wielding hater of the Jews attacked a Hanukkah lighting ceremony in Monsey, NY this past Saturday night. Josh says that those who continue to ask “why” this attack and the many other anti-Semitic attacks are happening, need to wake up to the reality that if you are a Jew you are a target. Josh says that communal Jewish leaders, Rabbis, and others who host public gatherings within the Jewish community are negligent if they don’t provide adequate security in this day and age.

Gaza Terrorists Tried to Ruin Youth Group Celebration
As thousands of Israeli kids from the Bnei Akiva religious Zionist youth movement were celebrating the culmination of a month-long period of festive activities, Hamas tried to ruin the party by firing rockets at the southern town of Sderot. The Sderot youth who gathered for their event were shaken but not defeated as they sang “the eternal nation is not afraid of a long journey.” The message was clear – the Jews have been targeted by her enemies for thousands of years, but we’re finally home, and not going anywhere. Josh discusses this story and everything else in the news from Israel on this week’s edition of “Israel Uncensored.”
New Neighborhoods and Neutralized Terrorists
On today’s Israel Uncensored with Josh Hasten, Josh jumps from topic to topic in a week which saw the announcement of a new Jewish neighborhood in Hebron, while IDF forces neutralized a terror cell in that same area, which had been making a habit of trying to murder Israeli motorists on the roads. Also, did you realize that 2,600 rockets have been fired at Israel by terrorists from Gaza in the past two years alone? Someone is keeping score, but will someone finally do what it takes to stop the rockets? All of this and much more on today’s show.

Did Zionism Die in 1967?
On today’s Israel Uncensored with Josh Hasten, an interview with Rabbi Yehuda HaKohen from the Brit Hazon – Vision Alliance Movement. His movement’s goal is to re-instill a sense of Zionism for Jews in Israel and around the world, which he says perhaps has faded since Israel’s miraculous victory in the 1967 Six Day War. Hear how HaKohen and his colleagues are intellectually inspiring and shaping the next generation of Jewish thinkers and leaders.

The Head-Scratching Israeli Election
Israelis went to the polls this past week, but results produced a stalemate leading to a period of uncertainty as to which Israeli leader will form the next government. While Benny Gantz’s Blue and White party received two more Knesset mandates than the incumbent – Prime Minster Netanyahu’s Likud, neither side has enough support to form a government. The ball is now in the court of President Reuven Rivlin to try and help the sides make compromises to reach the necessary 61 seats. If not, Israel could in fact be headed towards yet another election – its third in less than a year, this coming winter. On today’s Israel Uncensored with Josh Hasten, Josh tries to sort out the confusion and explain Rivlin’s daunting task.
