Will the New Government Create Change or Kick the Can Down the Road?

On today’s Israel Uncensored, Josh Hasten interviews Israeli travel expert Yomi Groner. Groner talks about many issues affecting the lives of Israelis on a daily basis which he hopes the new government, under Prime Minister Netanyahu, will address. He would like concrete steps to be taken in regard to transportation, pension payments, and housing, in addition to the topics which are usually the focus of the news cycle. Also on the show, Josh gives his take on the election results, and calls out the haters who claim the sky is falling and that Israel is doomed following the rightward results. Some of those same people have been holding Israel to a different standard for years regardless of the government makeup.

Why Go after Netanyahu’s Bread and Butter?

On today’s Israel Uncensored with Josh Hasten, an interview with renowned journalist Ruthie Blum. Blum criticizes Israel Resilience Party leader Benny Gantz for his attacks on Prime Minister Netanyahu. Instead of focusing on issues he has with the PM’s policies, Blum explains that for some reason Gantz decided to attack Netanyahu for his strengths – namely speaking English at a mother tongue level, and his diplomatic prowess on the world stage. Also, while Blum says that Netanyahu’s decision to partner with the Otzma Party may or may not harm him come election day, she explains that like them or not, Otzma was in fact permitted to run in the elections by Israel’s courts.

MK Haskel Eyes the Future While Reflecting on Past Accomplishments

On today’s Israel Uncensored with Josh Hasten, an exclusive interview with Likud MK Sharren Haskel. Haskel who is currently on the campaign trail as Israel heads towards elections, details some of her accomplishments as an MK over the past four years. She says that she worked towards liberating markets in Israel including the media, as well as assisting different segments of Israeli society, with a focus on helping Israel’s farmers. This rising star admits that it would be an honor if Likud wins the elections and she was selected to serve as Israel’s next Minister of Agriculture. In terms of her policies towards Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria, she hopes that Israel will apply sovereignty over the Jordan Valley and northern Dead Sea areas as a trial balloon towards applying sovereignty over other Jewish communities throughout the heartland.
